            Volleyball Recap: Mahopac Wolf Pac vs. Yorktown Huskers        
        
		
        
        
            Mahopac took  a  three-set  defeat the last time they faced off against Yorktown, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolf Pac had just enough and edged out the Huskers  3-2 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Wolf Pac have posted  since October 10, 2024.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Mahopac got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 25-19, 21-25,  16-14.
 Taylor AnnviTiello paced Mahopac's offense, picking up 16 kills. Annvitiello got some help from  Isabella DeChico and her 32 assists. DeChico was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.

Mahopac's win  ended  a  five-match drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-3. As for Yorktown, they now  have a losing record of 1-2-1.
 Looking ahead, Mahopac will venture away from home to  take on Peekskill  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Yorktown, they will host Lakeland  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
