Baseball Recap: De Kalb Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

De Kalb won against Liberty-Eylau on Tuesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bears beat the Redwater Dragons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

De Kalb's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Copeland, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

De Kalb has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Redwater, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.

As of now, neither De Kalb nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
