Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Escalante). They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging an 89-50 win over the Monument Valley Cougars. The Moquis have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 25 points or more this season.

Rayce Jenkins was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 10 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kage Lyman, who went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points.

Escalante is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.7 points. As for Monument Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Escalante will challenge Monticello at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monument Valley, they will be playing at home against Whitehorse at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
