Baseball Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short

Wayne County lost against Adamsville on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 6-1 to the Cardinals. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne County's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Adamsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Wayne County will take on Culleoka at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Adamsville, they will square off against Chester County at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
