Basketball Recap: Christian Brothers Takes a Loss

If Christian Brothers was feeling good fresh off their 72-49 takedown of Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Christian Brothers Cadets lost to the De Smet Jesuit Spartans at home by a 84-67 margin on Friday. The Cadets have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Christian Brothers' loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for De Smet Jesuit, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.

Coming up, Christian Brothers will host St. Dominic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for De Smet Jesuit, they will square off against St. Louis University at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
