Basketball Game Preview: Hurley Northstars vs. Chequamegon Screaming Eagles

Hurley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Chequamegon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hurley Northstars are taking a road trip to square off against the Chequamegon Screaming Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Thursday, Hurley came up short against South Shore and fell 55-43. The Northstars haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-34, which was the final score in Chequamegon's tilt against Edgar on Friday.

Hurley's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Chequamegon, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
