Basketball Recap: Kingdom Prep Lutheran Comes Up Short

Kingdom Prep Lutheran lost against Living Word Lutheran back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kingdom Prep Lutheran Wolfpack took a hard 93-77 fall against the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (62), the Wolfpack still had to take the loss.

Living Word Lutheran was led to victory by Eric Britton and Easton Oliver. Britton went 12 for 19 on his way to 33 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Oliver dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Oliver a new career-high in assists (seven). Jordan Evans was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Kingdom Prep Lutheran now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Living Word Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Kingdom Prep Lutheran has already played their next matchup, an 81-48 defeat against Sun Prairie West on the 20th. Living Word Lutheran has also already played their next contest (against Luther Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
