Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Tabor). They put the hurt on the Parkland Mustangs with a sharp 22-1 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won nine in a row.

Will Koonin was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Charlie Gallimore, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Mount Tabor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mount Tabor's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Parkland, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mount Tabor beat the Mustangs by a score of 19-0 later that day.
