Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Township Tigers vs. Morgan Township Cherokees

The Tri-Township Tigers will square off against the Morgan Township Cherokees at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Township has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Tri-Township will bounce into Friday's game after beating Kouts, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Tri-Township snuck past Kouts with a 44-40 victory on Tuesday.

It was another big night for Jayde Pryor, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last nine games she's played. Addison Hendrixson was another key player, putting up 12 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Morgan Township had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over Hebron on Tuesday.

Tri-Township's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Morgan Township, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Tri-Township was able to grind out a solid victory over Morgan Township when the teams last played on Friday, winning 39-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tri-Township since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
