Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Chanson Mickles: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass as Gaffney fell to Greenville 17-14. We hope Friday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Mickles and Gaffney will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Boiling Springs at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. The Indians are 8-2 against the Bulldogs going back to October of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
