Sparkman entered their tilt with Scottsboro on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Senators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eden Parker made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Krimson Phillips, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Farrah Payton, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Sparkman's victory bumped their record up to 19-6-1. As for Scottsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Sparkman's road trip will continue as they head out to face Beulah at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Beulah will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sparkman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Scottsboro, they will face off against Arab at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
