While Dublin Jerome's victory against Dublin Scioto wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Celtics sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Irish on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Celtics in their matchups with the Irish: they've now won eight in a row.

Dublin Jerome was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-13, 25-13.

Dublin Jerome pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Dublin Scioto, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
