O'Connor faced Canyon View in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Brooklyn Palmer paced O'Connor's offense, picking up seven kills. Palmer got some help from Alayah Krein and her 23 assists. Anabelle Cummings controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Canyon View's loss came despite strong showings from Isabella Hedrick and Imogen Berus. Hedrick had 11 digs, while Berus had one assist.

O'Connor's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Canyon View, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9-3.

O'Connor didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sunnyslope on the 11th.
