Basketball Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

Swansea lost against Keenan back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Swansea Tigers were dealt a 61-15 loss at the hands of the Keenan Raiders. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Keenan found their leader in freshman Taelor Lee-Sutton, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lee-Sutton has scored all season. Aareonna Cuaghman was another key player, putting up four points and seven steals.

Swansea's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8. As for Keenan, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Silver Bluff the next time they take the court. Keenan will head out to face Silver Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Swansea will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
