Northgate extended their winning streak to eight on Thursday, bumping them up to 18-6. They blew past the Berean Christian Eagles 11-3. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Shane Malloy was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Curran, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Northgate kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in 11 consecutive games.

As for Berean Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly eight runs.

On Berean Christian's side, Zack Upshaw made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Upshaw is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least one home run the team is 2-1 (and 7-14 when he doesn't).

As of now, neither Northgate nor Berean Christian have any future games scheduled.
