Martinez came up big in New Lothrop's 13-12 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Jayden Martinez stepped things up a notch to give New Lothrop the 'W'. Martinez was dynamite, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.
Martinez's strong effort led New Lothrop over Lakeville and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. New Lothrop is 8-0-1 against Lakeville going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
