After having lost a blowout in their previous game, Rio Linda was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Destiny Christian Academy Lions 13-2. That looming 13-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Jason Figueroa was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
