Volleyball Recap: Fairbury Takes a Loss

Fairbury's tournament run continued when they took on Wamego on Saturday. The Jeffs fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Jeffs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Fairbury lost, don't look at Nevaeh Ortiz. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and one assist. Keira Bey also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Fairbury's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wamego, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Fairbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Linn on the 13th. As for Wamego, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 13th.
