TEACH Homeschool has gone 6-1 against Peninsula Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Beach Breakers will square off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

TEACH Homeschool is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Norfolk Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

TEACH Homeschool saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Gard, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Peninsula Catholic came up short against Cape Henry Collegiate on Tuesday, falling 21-2.

TEACH Homeschool's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Peninsula Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

TEACH Homeschool skirted past Peninsula Catholic 2-0 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beach Breakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
