Florence won the last time they faced North Pike and things went their way on Friday too. The Florence Eagles walked away with a 53-45 victory over the North Pike Jaguars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Despite the loss, North Pike had strong showings from De'Asia Hudson, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds, and Kadence Jordan, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for North Pike, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4.

Florence will head out to face off against Brookhaven at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for North Pike, they will welcome Natchez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Natchez will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something North Pike surely won't give up without a fight.
