Basketball Recap: Grand Meadow Extends Winning Streak to 14

Grand Meadow had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.9 points) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals 75-37. The Superlarks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, LeRoy-Ostrander still got an impressive performance from Kendall Olson, who posted nine points. What's more, Olson also posted a 43% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Benita Nolt was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Grand Meadow's win was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-23.
