Recap: Philip Scotties vs. Jones County Coyotes
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Philip Scotties ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against Jones County by a score of 63-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Philip.
Jones County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Feddersen, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 19 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Nix, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Philip's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Jones County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Philip and White River will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. White River will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Jones County, Jones County and Kadoka will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Kadoka focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
