Baseball Recap: Lenox Memorial Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lenox Memorial can now relate to. They fell just short of the Georgetown Royals by a score of 3-1 on Sunday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Millionaires have suffered since April 10th.

Lenox Memorial saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Nicotra, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Lenox Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Georgetown, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Lenox Memorial nor Georgetown have any future games scheduled.
