Football Preview: Orcutt Academy Spartans vs. Lone Pine Golden Eagles        
        
		
             Orcutt Academy is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Lone Pine is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Orcutt Academy Spartans will host the Lone Pine Golden Eagles  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Orcutt Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.4  points per game  this season.
 Orcutt Academy is headed into the  game out to prove that what happened against Santa Clara  on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Orcutt Academy was beaten by Santa Clara 60-30.
 Orcutt Academy might have lost, but man,  Joaquin Perez was a machine:  he rushed for 243 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Perez was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.
 Even though they lost, Orcutt Academy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 316  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  since  the start of last season.
 Meanwhile, Lone Pine strolled past Trona with  points to spare two weeks ago, taking the game  58-42.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lone Pine to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ralph Enriquez Jr., who threw for 199 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards. Enriquez Jr. has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last three times he's  played.  Cristian Duran was in the mix  as well, providing Lone Pine with three touchdowns.
 Lone Pine didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Perfecto Valdez and  Noah Quezada.
 Orcutt Academy's record now sits at 5-3. As for Lone Pine, their record now sits at 7-3.
