Soccer Recap: Western Reserve Academy Takes a Loss

If Western Reserve Academy was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Padua Franciscan on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pioneers fell just short of the Revere Minutemen by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Western Reserve Academy of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2016.

Western Reserve Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Revere, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Reserve Academy will welcome Columbus Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Revere, they will host Aurora at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
