Volleyball Recap: Malcolm Beats Holdrege for Their Third Straight Win

Malcolm had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Holdrege Dusters with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Clippers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Laurel Johnson and Payton Dolliver, who picked up 14 kills apiece. They got some help from Allie Blair and her 37 assists.

Loss or not, Holdrege got some senior leadership from Ellie Pelster and Jaclyn Nelson. Pelster had 13 digs and two aces, while Nelson had eight digs and two aces.

Malcolm's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Holdrege, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.

Malcolm wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Milford on the 28th. Holdrege does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
