Basketball Recap: Marion-Franklin Comes Up Short

Marion-Franklin lost against Briggs back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Marion-Franklin Red Devils fell to the Briggs Bruins 41-37. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marion-Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Briggs, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion-Franklin will welcome Walnut Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Briggs, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against South at 5:30 p.m.
