Volleyball Recap: Villa Duchesne Comes Up Short

Villa Duchesne lost against St. Joseph's Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Saints lost 3-0 to the Angels. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Villa Duchesne was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 12 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Villa Duchesne's record is now 3-9. As for St. Joseph's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season.

Villa Duchesne will head out on the road to challenge Duchesne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Joseph's Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lipscomb Academy on the 26th.
