Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caston). They were the clear victors by a 24-3 margin over the Oregon-Davis Bobcats on Thursday. With that victory, the Comets brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Natalie Warner was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Myli Rude was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and four runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
