Ridgefield is a perfect 10-0 against Washougal since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Spudders will welcome the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Ridgefield has four straight wins, Washougal has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Washougal's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Ridgefield hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Spudders' pitchers stepped up to hand R.A. Long a 22-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Spudders, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Washougal lost 15-2 to Woodland on Monday.

Washougal saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaydence Ingalsbe, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Washougal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Ridgefield, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Ridgefield got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Washougal by a conclusive 23-0 score. Will the Spudders repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
