Sean Oser Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Friday, Kellis got the W thanks in part to Sean Oser playing the best football he has all season. Oser rushed for 182 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 81 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

The win (which was Kellis' seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Oser and Kellis will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ironwood Ridge at 7:00 p.m.

A Season-Best Effort from Nathan Franklin Leads Westview over West Point

On Friday, Westview had to settle for second even though Nathan Franklin put up the best numbers he has all season. Franklin rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He is becoming a predictor of Westview's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

This year, Franklin has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 34.1 rushing yards per game.

Richard Valdez Delivers Best Effort of Season

West Point was led to victory by Richard Valdez, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Valdez threw for 206 yards and four touchdowns.

This year, Valdez has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 190.8 passing yards per game.

Marcus Plott Goes Supernova in West Point Victory

Another West Point player making an appearance on this list is Marcus Plott. He picked up 64 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

For the season, Plott has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 37.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.
