Softball Recap: Princeton Drops Season-High Score on Graham

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Princeton). They blew past the Graham G-Men 17-4 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the G-Men: they've now won four in a row.

Princeton let Shaylee Cook and Bailey Brewster run wild. Cook scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while Brewster went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two stolen bases gave Cook a new career-high. Zoey Agnew was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Princeton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Princeton's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Graham, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Princeton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 loss against James Monroe on the 14th. As for Graham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Tazewell on the 15th.
