Softball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Poteet Aggies. That's two games in a row now that the Ro-Hawks have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Katherine Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Bornhauser, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Randolph's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Poteet, their victory bumped their record up to 10-17.

As of now, neither Randolph nor the Aggies have any future games scheduled.
