Soccer Recap: Union Academy Gets the Win

Union Academy proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the West Stanly Colts. Caroline Souza had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Cardinals got from the refs.

Union Academy hit West Stanly with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hadassa Garcia, JaLynn Kendall, Juliana Morales, and Isabelle Craig.

Union Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Union Academy has already played their next match, a 5-4 victory against Central Academy on the 5th. As for West Stanly, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Mount Pleasant on the 6th.
