Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edsel Ford). Everything went their way against the Annapolis Cougars on Saturday as they made off with a 21-1 win. The Thunderbirds have beaten the Cougars the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.

The team relied heavily on Ian Maness, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tyler Zelek, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.

Edsel Ford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Annapolis only posted an OBP of .364.

Edsel Ford now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Annapolis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
