Connelly came up big in Manheim Central's 4-3 victory
While Monday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Colin Connelly. Manheim Township had no answer to Connelly on Monday as he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits.
Connelly and Manheim Central will be playing at home against Garden Spot at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Connelly has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 1.7 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Garden Spot has only allowed 5.75 per game this season.
