Basketball Recap: Wray Takes a Loss

Wray was the 71-65 winner over McCook when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Wray Eagles took a blow against the McCook Bison on Friday, falling 75-40. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wray's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aaron Tena, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points, and Brodie Riggelman, who posted nine points.

Wray's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for McCook, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Wray has already played their next match, a 65-52 win against Burlington on the 14th. As for McCook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-50 victory against Ulysses on the 14th.
