Softball Game Preview: T.W. Andrews Red Raiders vs. High Point Central Bison

T.W. Andrews is 0-10 against High Point Central since April of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The T.W. Andrews Red Raiders will challenge the High Point Central Bison at 6:00 p.m. High Point Central took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on T.W. Andrews, who comes in off a win.

T.W. Andrews will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against North Forsyth on Tuesday. Everything went T.W. Andrews' way against North Forsyth as T.W. Andrews made off with a 20-10 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Raiders as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, High Point Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Rockingham County, falling 16-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

High Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for T.W. Andrews, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

T.W. Andrews suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to High Point Central in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can T.W. Andrews avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
