Soccer Game Preview: Bolton vs. Tipton-Rosemark Academy

The Bolton Wildcats will take on the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy will have to contend with a Bolton team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen yet this season. Neither Bolton nor Dyer County could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jorge Martinez and Byron Vierya scored both of Bolton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Tipton-Rosemark Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 1-0 shutout. Tipton-Rosemark Academy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Bolton's draw gives them a new season record of 0-5-2. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.
