Volleyball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Comes Up Short

Metro-East Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Maryville Christian Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 10th.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11.

Metro-East Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Maryville Christian, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Metro-East Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Belleville West on the 30th. As for Maryville Christian, they will challenge Father McGivney Catholic at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
