Softball Recap: Rosemont Comes Up Short

If Rosemont was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Galt last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rosemont took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McClatchy Lions on Wednesday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Rosemont saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Talia Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Rosemont's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for McClatchy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Rosemont wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against El Dorado on the 20th. As for McClatchy, they have also already played their next match, a 16-0 win against Cordova on the 27th.
