Volleyball Recap: St. Charles East Comes Up Short

St. Charles East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Sandburg Eagles. If the Fighting Saints were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Charles East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Sandburg, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

St. Charles East has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Naperville Central on the 19th. As for Sandburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Metea Valley on the 17th.
