Softball Recap: The Pilgrim Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, The Pilgrim Academy was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers, falling 21-1. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The Pilgrim Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Point Pleasant Boro, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat The Pilgrim Academy by a score of 22-1 later that day.
