Elk Rapids is 8-2 against Charlevoix since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Elk Rapids Elks will welcome the Charlevoix Rayders at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Elk Rapids earned a 51-44 win over Boyne City. Given the Elks' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Ramblers are ranked 297th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Charlevoix). They came out on top against Cheboygan by a score of 64-54 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rayders.

Elk Rapids' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Charlevoix, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Elk Rapids strolled past Charlevoix when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 62-46. Will Elk Rapids repeat their success, or does Charlevoix have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
