Softball Recap: South Beauregard Comes Up Short

South Beauregard lost against Iota back in April of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Knights fell 4-1 to the Bulldogs.

South Beauregard's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Iota, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Beauregard will face off against Hicks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Iota, they will challenge Acadiana at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
