The North Adams Green Devils will take on the Zane Trace Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. North Adams is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.

North Adams is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Valley just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Thursday. They and the Indians finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. The result kept North Adams happy, as they haven't lost a game since August 20th.

Tristan Young and Colin Tolle scored both of North Adams' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Zane Trace's offense. They lost 10-0 to Fairfield Union on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Zane Trace can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 524th, while Fairfield Union are ranked 160th).

Zane Trace's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2. With that draw, North Adams' record moves to 11-1-1.

North Adams came up short against Zane Trace in their previous meeting back in August of 2021, falling 2-0. Can the Green Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
