Baseball Game Preview: College Park Falcons vs. Alhambra Bulldogs

For the second straight game, College Park will face off against Alhambra. The Falcons will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (College Park 3.8, Alhambra 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

College Park is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Alhambra 13-3 on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Nathan Glieden looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jack Carpenter was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Connor Berkowitz was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

College Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got College Park back to even at 9-9. As for Alhambra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.
