Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

The matchup between Washington and Scarborough on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Washington Eagles came up short against the Scarborough Spartans, falling 11-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Scarborough, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northside at 10:00 a.m. on February 8th. As for Scarborough, they will be playing at home against Furr at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
