Volleyball Recap: Winthrop Comes Up Short

Winthrop lost against Danvers back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Falcons. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-13, 25-13.

Winthrop's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Danvers, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Winthrop is set to challenge their familiar foe Salem at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Danvers will face off against rival Masconomet Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
