After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Windsor, Montgomery was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Maria Carrillo Pumas by a score of 3-1. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Pumas recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Montgomery walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 25-13, 25-20.

Montgomery's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-7. As for Maria Carrillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Montgomery is set to take on their familiar foe Santa Rosa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Maria Carrillo will challenge rival Ukiah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
